Do "Memory Care Units" provide enough care?

"Memory Care Units" at Emeritus facilities have staff trained specially to work with residents who have dementia. These units are popular and lucrative for the company. The standard training for memory-care staff, however, is only 8-hours. Catherine Hawes, a researcher at Texas A&M University, says this isn't enough time to learn the complexities of working with this group of people.
